ITT, a woman waiting for a man to disappoint her, yet again, and then use the inevitable result as a pretext to be upset, ultimately leading to sympathy.

Terrance and Phillip are my favorite Candians, but Don Cherry follows a close second....
DON CHERRY, Canadian Hockey Commentator for CBC Television, was asked on a local live radio talk show what he thought about the allegations of torture of suspected terrorists. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.
HIS STATEMENT:
"If hooking up one rag head terrorist prisoner's testicles to a car battery to get the truth out of the lying little camel shagger will save just one Canadian or American life, then I have only three things to say:
"Red is positive, black is negative, and make sure his nuts are wet."

Terrorist choose their lives which consist of evil and terror, allow Americans to live and choose their lives and not have them end abruptly due to terrorist attacks.

If you need to shock some hairy balls to loosen the tongue of a terrorist, and the information you gather saves lives, then LET THOSE BALLS ROAST!!!

Human lives > shocked terrorist balls
If someone can't grasp this, then... I feel sorry for them...

I'm pretty sure "The ends justify the means" is a classic debate topic. More relevantly, it's not cool to use terms like "rag heads" or "camel shaggers" and it's even more distressing that we've thrown around the term "terrorist" so much that someone needs to use those terms for some extra oomph.

Freaking this.

Re: Official Bored at Work / Off-Topic Chat Thread II
Terrorists think it's ok to visit inhuman suffering on Americans because they've been taught that America is a culture of monsters out to destroy everything they find sacred.
Mezlo is ok with visiting inhuman suffering on terrorists* because he's been taught that they're monsters who have chosen lives of evil.
I'll just leave that parallel up to the reader.
“As soon as men decide that all means are permitted to fight an evil, then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy.†—Christopher Dawson
*- We should clarify that whenever we say terrorist what we actually mean is terror suspects or people who are alleged to have ties to terrorist organizations. Very few of these people have been tried in a court of law and justly sentenced to punishment.
Re: Official Bored at Work / Off-Topic Chat Thread II
Your parallel is wrong, as it's based solely on the fact that terrorists only come from abroad, while most of America's terrorism is born within the country. Much of it consisting of white people.

Even if I agreed with that statement, you're not talking about the same people Mezlo is talking about, and certainly not the same people that Don Cherry is calling rag headed camel shaggers.
The distinction is irrelevant. Terrorists, regardless of origin, think it's ok to resort to inhuman methods because they are ultimately on the side of good, and so does Mezlo.
