I've been having a lot of free time lately so I decided to start RPing again. Not sure if anyone here does it or just thinks it's stupid. (Waits for negative post) But I find it to be very relaxing when you sit down and login to an RP group and just start posting lengthy walls of finely detailed text and begin your adventure! I'm doing a Kingdom Hearts RP with a few fellows of mine and I'd do an original tavern RP but I think too many WoW nerds would hop in it. -shrug-

I do a lot of forum based RP and also RP on MMOs with my gaming group. We mostly RP on SWTOR but we also play TSW and EVE. And of course there is the D&D Campaign that Yyg runs on Saturday nights when his girlfriend lets him.

Would definitely be interested in joining another RP thingy anyway.

Amidst the celebrations that followed the ceremony, Edgar Sommerfield, the Rough-cut Leader of the Far Striders approaches Cid and in a Gruff voice that drips of arrogance and self-confidence says "You and me gotta talk" after which he marches out of the hall and through the gates leading into the city.

Cid follows Edgar into a local pub and finds him sitting alone at a table for two. Cid takes the only chair and asks, "What do you need to speak of? Is something wrong?" Edgar gestures with a wave of his hand, suggesting it's no big deal, and asks, "Girl, I just wanted to know where you got those shoes."

Am I doing D&D right?

It's all text based and people set up their own games and make their own character sheets. I have about 3-4 characters done up on KH. One of them being the 4th spot in Organization 13.

The install is quick and easy and then you just click to join and voila in you go. The game has an automated save system, so if the host crashes your data is saved.

interesting point brought up in my class today: "If guns are illegal to own, only bad guys have guns, right?"

Now, to an American, this argument is old-- the only thing that stops a good guy with a gun is a bad guy with a gun, right?

Except that in context, guns are illegal to own-- the point being made was that, as guns are illegal, the only people who have them are criminals, and possession of a gun is prima facie evidence of intent to use it criminally. The implication of this being that, by making guns illegal, you also make it easier to stop criminals, as possession of a firearm alone can be enough for imprisonment.

Saw "Silver Linings Playbook" tonight with a friend... Was an interesting experience. Hard to watch, as Bradley Cooper resembles someone I know (whole different can of worms/story.) Movie was a good therapy session in regards to that same person, though, and many viewers could liken their own craziness to certain characters. But, I guess The Hobbit is all the rage right now. =X

That movie just looks like all the other paranormal horror films. :S
