    I have nothing against WoW in particular, but I'm not interested in an MMO in my life right now, or possibly ever unless they somehow engineer one that isn't a life-eating time-sink.

      What TM said, plus I've always found WoW's weapon/armor design atrocious. Their idea of cool armor is to give everyone Samus's Varia Suit. I mean, lolHistoricalAccuracy and all that - FFXI has some pretty silly shit too (any H2H weapon) - but I draw the line at Rogues with giant pauldrons.

        Then maybe you'd prefer Chibi-Faced people. :3 Eden Eternal has that and I enjoy it and it's F2P.

          Eden Eternal is nice, and being able to swap classes on the go is pretty fun. I've been playing a bit of Aion recently as well, though I tend to only play when my brother decides he'd like to as well. Monsters kick my ass at low levels.

              The game is fun, but the interface and farming/grinding is annoying. I recently began playing Maplestory again to pass the time. Remembered playing this when I was twelve. Went to my old private server and my old guild is still running. I forgot what level I was on the original server.

                WoW had three or four actual armor models. Leather, mail, and plate chest, legs, boots, and gloves were all the same model. Shoulder gear had a little more variety, but barely. Robes were probably the most unique, but I do believe they were used in a few plate sets as well. End-game sets had the most unique equipment, but it was usually shoulders and head gear. FFXI also reused armor models, but nowhere near to the same degree, although this might be because there were fewer sets to begin with.

                    I find myself playing Maplestory once every little while to check out new classes and whatnot, but I can never get further than 120~ before I start getting insanely bored.

                            Didn't know about that, I thought WoW would take the place of the furry part. Considering they have horse people. Dranier or whatever they are.
