Another bizarre-ass dream posted for your consideration: I walked up on a guy who was talking to two things that were posing as humans. I yelled at him and that dispelled the illusion. He broke off contact and they uncurled into tall, thin shadows with four arms. After that they were everywhere, lurking behind corners and just out of sight in slenderman fashion, which didn't make me afraid so much as angry. I chased after them, wanting to call them out and expose them, but I couldn't force my voice out of my throat. When I did finally wrench out a noise I woke up my wife. She said it sounded like a whimper. It felt to me like I was choking on it. Apparently I couldn't speak in my dream because I was struggling against sleep paralysis to access my real vocal cords.

I once dreamt that my hands and feet were bound and I was upside down underwater over the ledge of an atrificial lake/pool/thing in the middle of a dense pinewood forest. I struggled to breathe or swim to get to the surface but something unseen kept pulling me down. I watched in blurry under-water vision as I was eventually pulled out of the water by 2 psychadelic-colored snails who proceeded to chase me through the forest until I woke up.

Worst online instructional session ever.

The client just blew out their power somehow, and the noise feedback on their end is absolutely nuts. This is somewhere between sad and hilarious.

...and they've decided to not use the virtual desktop server I set up for this. Because they don't have enough power in their building to keep all the students' laptops on apparently. This is just amusing in all the wrong ways.

It's strange. Hurricane Sandy is suppose to be stronger than Hurricane Irene, but I don't see a lot of talk and prep compared to it (Besides the media. Though, it's the media. What do you expect?). I mean yeah, for me, even though I live in NY -- Irene didn't do crap to me besides a few extra droplets of rain.

Hopefully it's not a case of Cry Wolf.

It's really windy here, that's about it. The hurricane is expected to pretty much miss us entirely though, and hit up the east coast.
