Ok so i am at work thinking of playing FFXI and FFXIV instead of my work. I am thinking I should have called in sick today. But oh well. At least it gives me something to come home to. other wise I would only have my wife and that could be a bore.

Biggest let down over. Got all ready for the power to go out and nothing. Multiple (I think it ended up being about 11 before I went to sleep) brown outs. Oh well back to life.

Power was out here for about 30 hours. Basically just came back. It was an uncomfortable night. Had 2 trees down, one only just missed the house, it took out the front steps though.

Well that was... melodramatic. Irene already pasted us. I was asleep from my failed all-nighter.

All there is right now is lots of wind, no rain. Didn't lose power once apparently because my computer was still in sleep mode. "Meh" of God, indeed.

Eh... I lost power for about.... 7 hours?

Lots of wind, a few tree branches broke and fell, three people died in the storm as well.

Well, if the whole affected area is nothing but the US.

Place I work is out of power until further notice. I don't get paid until further notice. There is no need to have a disaster plan, it's not like natural disasters are common in North Carolina.

You know as a conservative myself, I have to say she is one loon. She is one that will possibly make the nomination but will not win the seat do to her super right wing antics and policies. She is what some would call a neo conservative
