Drove 15 hours over the last 3 days. Thursday, Richmond-> Baltimore to receive a scholarship award and present at a forensics conference on Friday. Friday, left conference after presenting (it went really well, better than I could have ever expected) and drove to Columbus. Today, drove from Columbus to Bloomington, IN. 95% of my stuff is still packed. I just cannot be arsed to remove it since I am just going to be moving again in a few weeks.
I don't understand people who commute. Driving sucks, a lot. Also, fuck road construction that only goes down to one lane. Especially at the bottom of a 6% grade road. Nothing like nearly meeting the end of a truck at the bottom of the mountain...sigpic

Sounds like a good time. In other news, I didn't do much today, helped my mother out a bit with yard work and then simply played XI. Feels nice though to be off from college for awhile, gonna job hunt this week until the new semester starts in September. Gonna put some money in my pocket and grab a few things I want, most likely going to try to begin my PC building. Then I will give this dreaded XIV a whirl and see what happens. My work place is very silly about its time sheets.
Initially I just filled out my time sheets accurately. If I missed an hour and a half of work for a doctor's appointment or something, I marked an hour and a half of time off. Eventually I got scolded for doing this because apparently the system can only accommodate time off in full hour increments. So I switch over to doing that, since they're at least flexible enough that as long as my total time over a pay period adds up properly it's all good. Today I get fussed at again because I had a day where I had a half hour off but burned a full hour of time off. Apparently the system can now do half hour increments.
