Yeah... but to you "cold" is what... 65? Last year I was in Miami in February around this time. It was 50 degrees and I saw people in winter coats... big thick ones. I get that temperature is relative... but c'mon!

Seriously, fuck Florida drivers. They are the worst. And I've driven in Boston, Yyg.

I'm not complaining about the temperature, believe me. I hate the snow and cold. But it certainly is odd. I had kind of hoped to go skiing for my birthday next weekend, but...yeah, that's not happening.

It was down to the 40s for like two days. That is my "cold" threshold. Most Floridians probably consider 60 to be cold, to me, that's just nice weather. Today it's like 72 or something, I walked to the store and it was just a beautiful walk.

The nights still get a little chilly but I have a warm blanket. I turned on my heat for exactly one day.

@Murphie, I almost went to the beach on my birthday, something I've never done (being from Pennsylvania and all) but I felt like being lazy instead.

As for skiing... you don't have places near you that pump the stuff all over the mountain (giggity)?

I do, but when I've been there during warm weather before I guess I just felt that it was cheating somehow? I dunno. I like cold weather when I'm skiing. I shouldn't be able to ski in snow pants and a t-shirt. Though I have.

Oh man, snow pants. I haven't worn snow pants in like 20 years.

I do kind of regret that before I moved, I never took the kids sledding, though at their ages when my ex took them, they wouldn't have remembered it anyway. Some day, though, I'm going to take my kids up north and make sure they get to experience the snow like I did.

Clearly you have never driven in Italy. The only cars there that don't have huge dents in them belong to people so terrifying that not even Italian drivers will side swipe or tailgate them while trying to get to work.

The worst place I ever drove was Puerto Rico, and I thought it couldn't get any worse than that. Then, I went to Costa Rica. Thankfully, I didn't have to drive anywhere, but riding in a van was plenty terrifying enough.

The most terrifying roads I've been on have been in Turkey by a mile. We were wondering why our bus driver was doing 80 MPH on a mountain road on the wrong side. They we found out that there was no other side of the road. Then the driver saw a truck he wanted to overtake.

Last time I express interest in exploring Greek ruins to family members planning a holiday again. They still haven't let me live that down.

Well when we set off the tour guide said she would leave us with the "very capable driver". I asked if he spoke English and she said no. Then ran.

I think an entire tour bus of British tourists then both collectively "clenched".

I decided to finally come back. Got bored with XI and severely pissed off with the shitty community so I left again, but I am back I guess. -shrug- I don't think I was missed, was I? (Doubtful)
