    what could this mean? Maybe they are just referring to retirement or something?

    If you click through the first link to gallup.com, the methodology is spelled out. The data is based on random telephone surveys of adults aged 18 and up. The video haphazardly injected into the middle of the article about retirement towns is just a related story.

        It breaks it down into specifics some. For example, people in Honolulu rated highest social/emotional well-being based on how much they laughed and smiled and whether they were treated respectfully by others, whereas people in Gainesville were more pleased with their jobs on average than the rest of the country.

          It's pretty surprising to see so many cities (big/small) in WA that made the most happy...
