I think it's adorable, but it seems overly cute for you.

I know that sounds redundant when its MLP we are talking about, but that's a bit higher on the diabetes scale than I'm used to seeing from you.

Isn't it a reference to Azumanga Daioh?

It could be a reference to that too, looking at the angle and the way Pinkie is posed.

Pictures of Pinkie holding a bloody knife or doing something horrific are a dime a dozen ever since that fic was written, so that's the first connection most are going to make, even if it was meant to be a double reference or perhaps by some miracle not even a Cupcakes reference at all.
