      Okay, Fluttershy just matched Rainbow Dash in air speed while pulling a balloon and four other ponies behind her.

      Fluttershy is a fucking badass.

        To be fair, Rainbow Dash literally didn't care about anything other than not being tied down. If she's flying for the sake of someone she cares about, she can go Sonic Rainboom.

        But yeah. For Fluttershy in that scene in particular, it got personal.

          It's still impressive considering that even Pinkie Pie has to warp reality to keep up with Rainbow Dash, and that Fluttershy was still heavily weighed down, even when Dash did have two or the four other ponies dragging behind her.

            That's more an impressive (and scary) attribute of Pinkie Pie herself, more than anything.

            On the other hand, the sheer air resistance of dragging a hot-air balloon horizontally must be phenomenal. So, not exactly what one would call a "weak flyer" at this point.
