and today. And after the one yesterday, there was a less powerful one, which could still be felt in Tokyo. I'd rather deal with this than thunderstorms back in Kansas, though.

I would miss thunderstorms if I ever moved away from them. They're my favorite weather.

I wouldn't, but I wouldn't choose earthquakes over thunderstorms, either.

So at work we have the news on mute with closed captioning and they mentioned something about Chernobyl and the similarities and one of our young people was like, "What's Chernobyl?"

Also it's probably just the whole "Japan upgraded Fukushima to a 7" thing; which is the same rating that Chernobyl had.

Which shows a lot more about how insufficient that scale is for describing Chernobyl than it does about how bad Fukushima is.
