I still like it when people refer to "Anonymous" as some sort of organization. It's more akin to a neighborhood full of kids who may or may not want to play together on any particular day. There's no organization, just people with too much time on their hands.

Gotta say, that company got what they deserved.

We do the same thing with Al'Qaeda.

For that matter, the better part of any group is part-timers.

When it's always the 'number two' guy they're picking off, the organization is largely a figment of the medias imagination. Al'Qaeda is only slightly more organized then Anonymous. They're really made up of small groups that have very little to do with each other.

                  It's better this way.

Otherwise they would start doing even stupid-er stuff once they realized it's impossible to stop Anonymous unless they somehow managed to kill all the millions of people around the world who get it.

Depends on how you use the term.

al-Qaeda (pronounced /ælˈkaɪdə/ al-KY-də or /ælˈkeɪdə/ al-KAY-də; Arabic: القاعدة‎, al-qāʿidah, "the base"), alternatively spelled al-Qaida and sometimes al-Qa'ida, is a militant Islamist group founded sometime between August 1988[6] and late 1989.[7] It operates as a network comprising both a multinational, stateless army[8] and a radical Sunni Muslim movement calling for global Jihad. Most of the world considers it a terrorist organization.[9]
You can use it to describe the network or you can also use it to name the specific entity that is (or was) run by Osama Bin Laden. It's the same with the usage of Taleban (Taliban) whereby you are either describing a loose federation of disenfranchised tribes in a region that wants a government based on Islamic fundamentalist ideas or to describe the exiled government body called the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan which is the primary focus of the NATO led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF).

It's really in the context and how you use terms that is important in any discussion.

(I think it's also important to not use the term terrorists so loosely ... same with insurgents ... in different prisms terms like rebels or anarchists could serve more accurately)
