It may be that you need a certain amount of "thread" posts. Try to start a new thread and open up a new conversation in the "Off Topics" section... anything will do. I'm not sure why it's telling you that you still have 0 posts. That is clearly untrue.

No, you're posting in off-topics. Your post count doesn't go up in off-topics. Try posting in any of the video games threads. That's hard without spamming if you don't really play them, but there should be something in one of the threads that you can talk about.

The fact that there is more than one of you in the gene pool is intriguing and just a little bit scary. But the good kind of scary. That adrenaline rush kind of scary when someone sneaks up behind you and taps you on the shoulder and you jump like forty feet in the air.

Anyway, in all seriousness, you could try to PM Taskmage and ask if he'd set your post count a bit higher. You're obviously not a spam bot trying to lure us to your RMT or porn site by posting twenty-six new threads throughout the board with garbled English and not entirely virus-free links.

Yeah that'll generally work. Hell, it doesn't even have to be on topic, check out some of the FFXI threads Yyg and I have posted in. We derail the shit out of everything.
