Yeah. I remember when we got a new refrigerator.

Until we ruined the damn thing using it as a pseudo-sled and flying down the stairs in it - though we got a good dozen runs out of it. I seriously wonder sometimes how we managed to not kill ourselves.

The box and cardboard tube thing was true for me. I remember sitting in a box with one of my sisters while holding a cardboard tube then flinging myself down the stairs while we were pretending to be some Romans on a chariot.

We crashed into the front door and nearly broke it. Good times.

So many younger children were lost to lava floors in the 80s and 90s. But seriously, the couch could only hold so many before capsizing. It was for the greater good, really.
