Not to mention the now-infamous crosshairs map. Palin names Giffords as a target and then acts surprised when someone else pulls the trigger? Maybe, since it's Palin, I could believe she's dumb enough not to expect that, but any reasonably intelligent person would know that it might happen. Hasn't she ever heard of Thomas Becket?

Palin is most guilty of being an idiot with the things she says sometimes. But most hilarious to me is her victimhood when she tries to criticize her critics for scrutinizing things that she says so closely.

Fact is she loves the fame and she loves being in front of the cameras. Hell, she even started her own reality TV show. And when you put yourself out there as much as she does, you can't have her cake and eat it too by expecting people not to dissect things that you say.

It still makes me facepalm that someone actually thought the Palin reality show would be a good idea. And doubly facepalm that there are people who actually watch it. TLC used to be a decent channel, now it's Palin reality and that stupid Kate bitch with the 8 kids she's whoring out for personal fame.

I watch the Palin show. Not religiously, mind you, but if I catch it on, I usually won't change the channel. I find it fascinating how america has politicians like Palin and Angle that don't get laughed out of office. It's fine to have conflicting points of view, but it's not fine to be an idiot.

Except that the village idiots are usually considered the minority. I went to high school in New Jersey and I can pretty much say the guidos of Jersey Shore are actually pretty representative of what most New Jersey teenagers are like.
