        It's true though, usually the more a someone hates people with different sexual orientations the more likely it is he is one of them.

        You just need to see them drunk to say "aha!" about their hate.

            It was kinda hard to keep a straight face through either video, especially since the first one did have a serious message.... mostly.

            I just kinda felt bad for John Cho, because it was just before the last Trek movie that George Takei decided to come out. You have Nimoy, Shatner and Nichols all giving their blessings to the new generation of actors taking on their classic roles.

            George Takei comes in and leaps to John Cho's defense for being a Korean cast as Sulu, telling fans that Roddenberry's vison for Sulu was representing all Asian-Americans, so a Korean actor was fine. It was a great way to quell the nerds, and then he says he's gay.

            Not that there's anything wrong with that, just weird timing is all.

            Kinda wished they had always hopped on the opportunity to do a TV series when they had him as captain of a ship in Star Trek V and VI, though. Its' hard to say there's a Trek actor that doesn't have a distinct voice and presence, but even among them Takei totally had it and I wish they had done more with his character as a captain.
