      Well I noticed it was a lot of rental trucks getting pwned. Most people aren't used to driving trucks when they rent one so don't really pay much attention to the height limit. But imagine moving someone's stuff and having that happen, I wouldn't want to be the person trying to explain to them that their undies are all over the road. lol

        What surprised me is that people apparently have no concept of height. Usually, if I think it's going to be close, I slow down A LOT!

          Ya we recently had to rent a truck to get a bunk bed for my grandkids. If I would see a sigh AND flashing lights, I would consider pulling over and eyeballing it at least. I just think some people don't pay attention to the signs because they see them often in their cars and if they don't apply to their car then they become desensitized.

            I'm also guessing (haven't paid enough attention to average height allowances in recent years) that 11'8" is rather low for a bridge. Most of those trucks were only clipping the top few inches, unfortunately thats all it takes, especially at speed.
