Police: Video game dispute leads to knife threat
"QUEENSBURY -- Two men angry with each other over a video game were arrested Wednesday after one threatened the other with a large knife, police said.
The two had a dispute that centered over a game they were playing against each other over the Internet on PlayStation 3 consoles, authorities said.
One of the men, Eric S. LaChapelle, 24, of Hudson Falls drove to the Homestead Village, Queensbury home of the other and assaulted him, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
That assault prompted the other combatant, Corey J. Chalich, 18, of Adirondack Avenue to threaten LaChapelle with a knife, police said. LaChapelle fled the scene and was arrested by Glens Falls Police minutes later, officials said.
LaChapelle was charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and released. Chalich was charged with second-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, and released.
Chalich was treated at Glens Falls Hospital and released."

I wasn't going to post this but then I saw where they charged the victim with "menacing". Seriously? The guy picks up a knife after some a-hole tracks him down, goes over to his house, and beats the shit out of him over comments online. Then he uses said knife to get the f**ker out of his house so he can't beat him any further and you charge him with something? I feel either a part of the story is missing or the DA is an a-hole.
