    moved.

    on topic: not sure about the popularity of this suggestion to be honest, mmos are, atleast for me... games that require comfort and requires attention spans that can, again, for me, only be achieved in the quiet of my own home

        That platform is still in development. There isn't a smartphone that can directly run WoW, as far as I know. Would I want a portable device that could run my favorite MMO? Probably not. MMOs suck enough of my life, I really don't need to have them intruding on my afk time too.

          I would like to be able to be logged in on an AFK bazaar mule from my phone. Maybe be able to check/buy/sell stuff on AH.

            that could be done with a web service, and you could access it from any web-ready app.

                Yes, And I could see students (High school, college, and some middle high school.) doing this during their class, and not learning what they need to know so they won't be dumb as shit when they graduate.

                  Teachers could just not pass them. Problem solved. And it won't take 15 minutes for whataburger to get me my order anymore. Everybody wins.

                    Actually... Now adays, students pass the classes, even when they failed. Teaches don't have the students fail anymore. I've personally seen a failing student, pass the class.

                      FFXI would feel bastardized if it was on smartphones, at least to me it would.

                        Sure, or texting, or sexting, or drawing things in a notebook, or passing notes, or doing a billion other things that kids have done for ages on end when they weren't paying attention in class. I can bet you the ones that were gonna go to college anyway wouldn't need to worry about a phone based MMO in the first place.

                          Re: FFXI - on smartphone?

                          I have seem japanese MMO incorporate MMO into phones. for example, uncharted water online have web phone access to message system and such. I think Monster hunter frontier have similar option as well.

                          But playing on a smartphone is still new idea. I think it is doable if SE really put the effort on it also with the new plan, it definitely can keep ffxi running.

                          Now wouldn't it be fun if you can do certain things in FFXI linked to FFXIV ? I can see how it will come someday as a drastic feature if FFXIV isn't as successful. It would be fun to do them in FFXI on smartphone while you play FFXIV just like a NDS with a WII.

                          With Iphone even start smacking sony's psp i can see the next generation phone heading this way.

                              Are you talking about middle school? High school? Community college? Four-year College? Graduate college? Any four-year college worth its salt passes those who work hard and know the material, and fail those who don't. I went to a four-year technical school and I had to work hard to get the grades I got. Same goes for graduate school. So try not to make a blanket statement like that. =p

                              Some other universities on the other hand might not have that good of a reputation, and it definiely shows. Companies would probably get suspicious if someone graduated from Mom n Pops university.

                              On topic, it would be pretty cool to check gardening while you were mobile. As long as you don't drive while you do it. > .>;
