I know.

I mean I don't expect people to post things like "today I got myself off and I only had to resort to my <insert weird fetish porn style> stash once" in the accomplishments thread, but I've gotten eerily used to reading really fucked up anecdotes on the internet.

And for the record, that is not an accomplishment of my own. Especially not while I am at work, though if I were to successfully get myself off at work without the notice of anyone, that would be worth mentioning. It would also make me a sexual deviant, but I'm not terribly certain that I wasn't previously.

We had a meeting for the five of us who work with this particular program (three of us in this area do one thing, two in another area which do ... something else), along with the supervisor. Well, two of us (both working back here) are temps, which is a temp to permanent position, but meh. The two of us were on time to the meeting, while the three employees were not surprisingly late, one of whom was 20 minutes late.

Anyway though, before the meeting started, our supervisor said that basically, us two (the temps) are not the problem, it's her employees. That felt pretty good, at least it shows I'm doing what I'm supposed to be doing and that I have a good chance of getting hired on at some point. Not that I truly love it here, but being hired means I get paid for these pesky days off (another one on Monday, that's three in a month, you're killing me here guys) and some like medical benefit thingies.

Feels good man.

I'm sick of litter and I've been working on training my cat to use the toilet.

~1) Raise litter to toilet level using a box or something.

~2) Situate litter atop the toilet (I found packing tape best).

~3) Remove litter box and place a metal strainer in toilet bowl with litter in it. This is the step I'm at with Wolf.

~4) Cut hole in strainer so poop can splash so the cat gets used to it and use far less litter.

~5) Remove strainer and witness one of the strangest things you've ever seen.. a cat telling you with it's eyes to GTFO and let it do it's business in peace whilst balanced precariously upon the toilet seat.

With that said... I hope I don't come home today to find a steaming pile upon my bed or something.

so I've been in Japan five months as of next week, and in that time I've lost 20kg/44lbs. And I'd lost about the same amount of weight before coming, although over about a year and a half. I've lost over 80 pounds from my peak weight. Fit into a pair of 33s earlier today pretty easily-- I came here with 42s. I'm near to tossing out almost all of the clothes I came here being able to wear because they're simply too big now.

After another 10kg I'll be down to a normal weight on the BMI scale.

And now I'm going to go out for fried food and donuts. Fuck yeah.

Well done Feba! I'm on a 3-day-a-week running routine to hopefully shed some pounds. Have been keeping it up pretty faithfully except for one week which I only went twice. But I'm not actually monitoring my weight, which maybe I should start doing... I've just been looking at my body to see if there's any difference. And yes, there has been somewhat of a difference! Hopefully I can keep it up until others notice the difference as well.
