Programming Mid-term: 100% (and 2 bonus marks, not sure if they count)
Application Software / Databases Mid-term: 90%
A+ Certification Prep (basically): 76% for the Hardware portion, 90% for the software
And Math: 94%

I had the oral part of my midterm today, it was pretty sweet. It was like "So what's a typical fast food restaurant in America?" "Oh, I mean it's gotta be McDonalds, right?" "Did you eat at McDonalds a lot in America" "Unfortunately. It's close, cheap, and easy, you know?"

Obviously not in English but still yeah. We basically just went on like this with random subjects for five minutes.

Written test is going to be a bitch. Sounds like we don't get more than like 30 minutes. But then I've literally got five goddamn days before I have another class, so I am not terribly concerned.

on tests, came back as %90 on oral and %92 on written.

Also, I've been in Japan three months. My weight has gone down around 33 pounds (15 kilos), putting me at about 11 lb/5kg a month since I got here. On the one hand, the natural "oh wait I have to actually move my body to do shit now" effect will probably bottom out or level off soon if it hasn't already, but I'm starting to get into jogging, and hopefully later running. Plenty of streets and hills and stairs and other neat shit here to keep myself entertained with, once I can manage more than the "jog a block, walk, jog a block, walk, jog half a block, walk, jog half a block, walk, rest, jog half a block, walk until home" part. Constant jogging at a good pace is gonna be great. I'll be really happy as long as I can lose another 3kg this month to get me down under 185 pounds before the New Year.

But oh yeah, this also means I've crossed the line from obese to overweight on the BMI chart.

Also was browsing a Book-Off's 105 yen section the other day, found a manga titled 金æ£æ—¥å…¥é–€, which basically translates as An Introduction to Kim Jong Il. It appears to be somewhat educational and awesomely hilarious.
