I was cast as Rooster in the musical Annie. It's been about 8 yrs since I even auditioned for a musical and I aced this one.... I've also never aced a musical audition EVER before. I'm happy.

You have not previously auditioned for a musical ever since 8 years ago.
You have also never previously "aced" an audition back then.
You have just now auditioned for a musical and have also just now "aced" it.

Thank you. And you definitely should. Theatre is a very fun thing to get into. A lot of time is needed to devote to rehearsals but it's worth it to me. Hope you find a theatre close. These are hard times for theatres great and small.

Maybe to people whose taste buds are not sensitive, but this here is a person who thinks pepperoni is too spicy (it totally is), and my taste buds are very sensitive, so I notice everything.

I found my long lost sister irl. Haha (Yeah, I think pepperoni in pizza is spicy and everyone else thinks I'm nuts ... well, my daughter thinks it's spicy, so she got my genes)

It really depends on the pepperoni. There was a place here called Stevearino's that had awesome pizza and its pepperoni was spicy. But there are other places where its more hot dog than it is pepperoni. I used to love spicy but now spicy makes me sick....but I still eat some once in a while and put up with the after effects. lol

I've been told by mostly everyone that pepperoni is not spicy and I must be insane to think such a thing. Yet if you leave even a sliver of it on my pizza (if you were mean enough to not order me at least half of a pizza without) not only will I taste it, but I will be suffering as though you just made me eat sixty jalapenos.

It really depends on the pepperoni. There was a place here called Stevearino's that had awesome pizza and its pepperoni was spicy. But there are other places where its more hot dog than it is pepperoni. I used to love spicy but now spicy makes me sick....but I still eat some once in a while and put up with the after effects. lol

I used to eat and cherish spicy foods because of my culture (Korean) and because that was the only thing Grandma would cook. Either you deal with it or go next door and ask for table scraps >.<

As I got older, however, I stopped being able to "handle" the spicy foods and even got seriously sick serveral times (not related to any spoilage concerns regarding the consumed food) I can eat spicy foods but only certain dishes. For example, I can eat Thai curry and deal with it better than I can deal with Mexican dishes. It's probably the kind of chiles used, the preparation or both.

You're probably just really sensitive to spicy foods and/or are allergic to either a certain group of spices or the oils (not necessarily the spices) that is present in pepperoni.

Well, in my case, its partially age and its partially because I had 90% of my stomach removed. lol I was told that spicy, sweet, and greasy stuff were going to be hard to handle. (Also alcohol, I swear I'm the cheapest drunk alive. Had 1/2 of those tiny glasses of saki one night and you'd thought I'd just drank a 6 pack.) Like a year before my surgery I was eating spicy (and they were spicy!) chicken burritos (just the chicken in the sauce, onions, and shell really) every day for every meal. I didn't eat anything else...and I really mean it. It was an OCD thing I think but it went on for about 4 months. Then a year later, spicy chicken burrito in aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand out! lol My guys here are evil, they would even give me something spicy without telling me just to see it happen. >< (Same with sweets, they'd give me something sweet knowing I'm a sweet addict and that I'd be asleep in 5 minutes after eating it.)

With the laps I swam last night, I passed the 100-mile mark -- and got a t-shirt for becoming a member of the "100 Mile Club." I'm very proud of myself.
