Hehehehe.....only 3 more days people. Then I get money, lots of money for lawsuits. If it's one thing I love about the US. You get to sue people for free money. (Provided you win of course). My attorney and I already got enough evidence to keep this guy behind bars for a-while.

What you talking about? Oh this Christmas List of stuff I'm getting Satori....oh let me just hide that. But once I get out of court (Hopefully it should be quick) I'm going to volunteer for security and help the salvation army. (The people who ring the bells) for that day. I usually help the day before, but I signed up late and got a last minute spot on Xmas. Still feels nice to help out, also has anyone else gotten like the out of no where snow yet? I'm waiting for it to happen here in CT, it's fucking known to do it here. I got my shovel, de-icer, rock salt, ice pick (Thank you grandpa), broom, boots, three different coats, some thermal hats, gloves and a whole bunch of ideas for making sure snow doesn't have a nice day on my doorstep....I loathe cold weather. Summer baby here.

So working at the airport has it's excitement. From time to time fun things happen around here. Take today for instance. About an hour ago I got a phone call to my desk in Operations from a guy representing the Boston Bruins. As it turns out his name was Keith Robinson... their equipment manager.

*let me stop for a second here and explain that I have never once watched a full game of professional sports with the exception of the super bowl. I don't know a damn thing about any of them and I don't care to. It's not my thing*

So this Keith guy says that there's a package coming in from Buffalo that he would like rush delivered out to the curb so that he can bring it to the Boston Garden for the game tonight. I asked what variety of package it was and he explained that they were skates for one of the players in the game. "Neat" I think to myself as I explain to him that all cargo, regardless of who it is for is required to be sent to and processed by the freight house before it can be given to the person who is coming to pick it up. "The speed of the process varies, but if it's urgent I can try and call the freight house and ask them to send someone to meet the aircraft and expedite the process." I tell him.

"If you can find a way to have them taken to the curb without going to that place, I'll bring you tickets to any bruins game!" the guy says. "That's great" I said, "I'll see what I can do".

I then took down his number, called and made some arrangements, phoned in a favor and got the OK to personally hand deliver them to the curb provided that this Keith guy had some kind of verification of who he was. So I called him back when the plane landed and personally brought the package to the curb. The guy who met me at the curb was no Bruin but rather... the equipment manager for the Buffalo Sabers. The skates I handed to him were for Thomas Vanek... apparently the Left Wing of the Sabers and possibly their best player.

Everyone here at work are huge Bruins fans and having heard the story... are all pissed off at me. They tell me that the Bruins have gone 5-0 this season and that I just handed a vital piece of custom equipment to the strongest offensive player of our opposing team tonight. If the Sabers win tonight and this guy Vanek scores any of the goals... I'm going to get torn into for who knows how long.

On the flip side, I got 2 tickets to a game of my choosing this season. Given that I could not possibly think of a WORSE way to spend an afternoon than at a PROFESSIONAL SPORTING EVENT... I'm giving the tickets to my uncle as an early birthday present. He's a huge fan and would without a doubt personally sever his own left testicle with a rusty spoon for the tickets that are in my pocket.

Anywho... fun stuff. I thought I'd share.

If it weren't Boston, I'd also sever your uncle's left nut for the tickets that are in your pocket. But Boston. There are few things I loathe more than any Boston sporting team.

Luckily, I have my tickets to the game I am planning to attend in April already.

Still, that's really cool, and yes, hockey fans can and will draw blood, so you might want to keep your eye tuned on ESPN.com during the game. XD
