    I can only follow instructions for the layer-by-layer method.

    I've tried to solve it on-the-go-from-the-corner kind of way, but never complete it

      I'm the other way around. I really only use the corner method, makes sense to me. Granted, I never really tried to learn the layer method.

      I have a friend that does layer method and it's slower than corner method, imo.

          yea doing by layer is the slowest way. I wish I can do the corner method. I can do it up to 2x2x3 blocks then I got stuck....

          There are lots of instructions - pictures and video. But still I cannot learn to do it >_<;

            Funny thing is.. I was thinking about this the other day too when I saw an episode of Everybody Hates Chris.. Funny how that keeps happening.
