          I remember it being Fallout 3 but I only played resistance for a grand total of 15 minutes. Feba nice mgs reference

                      Under all the layers its hot, however, 90% of stuntmen and people like this soak a couple layers in a product called BurnFree. Atleast, thats the product the major film studies stuntmen companies use, it could be their main US competitor Waterjel. Either way, the bottom layers are soaked in the stuff, and while it is heavy, its pretty good at regulating temperature.... I've got a video somewhere of me walking between two walls of hay on fire... Solid 60 foot tall flames.... Fun stuff!

                        Really? I would expect that anything that would keep the heat out effectively would also keep body heat in ... but this sounds more like something that has a high specific heat capacity.

                              Yes, but it sounds like the insulation is only the half of it. The other half sounds like something that acts as a heat sink, basically...
