[quote=Feba;845866]I have a hard time imagining that Michael would've wanted it to be private./quote]

Good point. Well, apparently a will written in 2002 has just popped up and they are holding a public procession in Never Land, and then a 2nd private one just for the family.

Thats because they show it sped up lmao. They only show it the Moonwalker way when Moonwalker is on.

I'd also like to catch the MJ halloween special too.

MICHAEL JACKSON ULTIMATE 32 DVD COLLECTION + 1 FREE MUSIC CD | DVDs | Shop-Michael Jackson Collectibles & Memorabilia - CDs,DVDs,Costumes,Toys and more I saw that one on another website awhile back for the same price. I'm shocked that the price hasn't skyrocketed.

        He's only frozen.

They're preserving him to terrorize future generations.

I remember hearing something about that saying he wanted to be frozen, but I haven't heard that it was true yet.

I'm pretty sure this is NOTa MJ hating/joke topic, should've quit while you were ahead. I mean some of the jokes are mehish and what not, but that one was kinda ill mannered IMO.

As I said earlier MJ is gone now, I don't think he did anything to anybody, if he did he should've been found guilty. However, since he wasn't, all those alligations are buried with him and MJ should always be remembered as the "King of Pop (Icon)" that he was.

You know I couldn't help but think to myself, if MJ hadn't gotten so fucked up the way he did I bet ya he would have been out there with Obama during the campaign season. O.o just the thought of such an event.... aww well, never did/will happen.

I found it interesting he actually called the family to console them. The other thing that caught my attention was his Father was out the other day doing "damage control". The man at least sounded human that time, as opposed to that God awful, downright shameful interview he gave CNN's Don Lemon. As it turns out, there might not be a public funeral at Never Land despite all the people who are camping out there now to beat the crowds.

This might sound selfish, but the one thing that bothers me most is I never did get a chance to see the guy perform live and that's gonna haunt me damn it

I'll admit that I laughed at some of the jokes, but they have their place, and this thread is a thread in which we are paying respects. I can go to the BG thread to laugh at MJ jokes.

That would've been epic. "Black or White" would've been so appropriate there, and I'm pretty sure he could've gotten some other artists to rally behind Obama which would've got the young people on the band wagon.

Yeah, just the other day I asked my mom if Obama had said anything, I thought it was pretty cool that he called to express his condolences.

I remember me and some of my coworkers were talking about how epic the Jackson Reunion Tour would've been about a year back. I also mentioned how epic a MJ/Prince tour would've been (Tried to think of a good name so maybe "The Icon Tour" or "Man in the Rain Tour?".) I feel the same way as you do Mal, I wish I could've seen MJ back in the 90s when he was in his prime. I would've even liked to have been at the Reunion a couple of years back, I have that on tape somewhere lol.

I was reading this article earlier about what Jermaine said about MJ in a recent interview, it was so beautiful but sad that it brought tears to my eyes.

Yeah, young people were just crazy for McCain though. Whatcha gonna do?

On a serious note, I won't worry too much about him being remembered as a freak instead of as the king of pop. Look at John Lennon. Go read about Lennon sometime; even Wikipedia will do. He was pretty fucking weird, although in a much more awesome way than Jackson was, but everybody remembers him for the music. Especially with the potential for his music to ride back up (as well as back archives; apparently he had something like a hundred songs just sitting around so his kids would have something to support them after his death) on the publicity of his death; he's already moved beyond Elvis in terms of total record sales because of it, apparently. I just hope the new Beatles releases I've been hearing about keep them on top.

YouTube - Ready 2 Rumble Boxing Round 2 - Michael Jackson Playthrough 2/4 I forgot about MJ being in Ready 2 Rumble 2. The sad thing is I only used to play as him, Lulu, and GC Thunder. The video starts at him vs Shaq. His taunts and his moves after the match are spot on lmao. I used to always do the lean taunt because it could dodge a punch if you had leaned all the way forward.

Dude, you just blew my mind

                      Those 2 performing together, holy shit... also, I always thought that "Man in the Mirror" would have been a good campaign theme for him to have used instead of Stevie Wonder's Signed, Sealed Delivered. Think of it as a metaphor;

You look in the mirror and hate what you see (what Bush has done to the country) and you want to make a change. Would have worked on so many levels.

Man, the reality of it still hasn't really set in.

I mean SRSLY!!! WHY DOES THIS HAVE 8 BIDS!?!

It was killed before I could even click on the link lol. I guess there have been quite a few people trying to sell their tickets and ebay has been shutting them down.

EDIT>> That might just be what it defaults to when ebay kills it because I just saw another one lol.

Memorial was beautiful and awesome. I can honestly admit that I've never seen anything like it, and the only thing I can think of that compares would be the death of a president or former president. I cried when the House Representative got up there and spoke about MJ. I screamed and yelled at the TV to cheer on Al Sharpton, and my mom cried when Paris spoke. I'm at a loss for words at the homegoing for MJ and I am still watching CNN.

We've been talking about it on facebook all day. I even joked about my mom because she is recording the Memorial on 3 VCRs on 3 different channels on VHS. As soon as I can find it for download it will be downloaded in HD, and if it comes out on DVD or something it will be bought.
