Ok, seriously, this is called a coincidence. The digital change over was required only for over the air broadcast. Cable and Satalite are still allowed to broadcast anything they want in analog. When local stations changed over, it makes sense their uplink to your provider also went to a digital signal, but Comedy Central, Cartoon Network and what not were never OTA broadcasts. They changed over to get more subscribers, not because of the change over that occurred last Friday.

I also want to add to my list of "What comes on tv" Spinoffs of other shows. >_> I was flipping though the channels one day and saw about 5 mins of "New York goes to work." All I can say is yeah.....
Ya that woman needs to get a clue that she has old lady skin and no amount of plastic surgery can fix that. *shudders*

I didn't realize how bad the reality show situation has gotten. I admit there are a couple that I do enjoy watching but since I haven't watched actual tv in about 2 years, I didn't realize how many were out there. One that I watch is called Deadliest Catch....I have a thing for Sig. Anyways, the other day I got my living room back (AAAAAAAAAMEN!) and was watching tv. I saw a commercial for ICE ROAD TRUCKERS. Dot...Dot...Dot... Then the next day SWAMP LOGGERS. DOT...DOT...DOT... PLEASE STOP!

      LOL Shaken...not stirred.

God I wish I could talk to them about Daniel Craig...YUMMY! But my sisters are so old they think Kevin Costner is sexy....GOOD LORD HAVE YOU SEEN HIM LATELY!? I just watched the Blu versions of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace last night back to back. It was so nice because they fit together so well.

Further proof the general populace is retarded: 800,000 called digital TV hotline this week - Tech and gadgets- msnbc.com

what beats that is that there were still 20 stations that went dark because they hadn't switched over to digital broadcast equipment. way to go.

              Re: The end of analogue

We already switched to digital last year here in Finland. It was a painful transition as an overwhelming majority of our TVs are on antennas and cable TV is relatively rare. There was also a bunch of technical issues and the kind of digital technology we adopted is pretty bad (and unique), I hear.
