And, uh, if you're only going by the last two numbers, in another hundred years. not to mention 2010 will have a similar sequence, as will 2011, 2012, and 2013. Also keep in mind the variation in dating practices; the same sequence will occur in most countries on the 7th of August.

tl;dr, this was written by an idiot, most likely American. Not just because it uses an internationally abnormal dating system, but because it is oblivious to the fact that this dating system is relatively uncommon. Furthermore, it is ignorant of non-Gregorian calenders in general, as well as the fact that this sequence in particular, as they describe it, would've occurred every 100 years, as well as similar sequences (in DD/MM/YY, 1st January 2000 at 04:03:02; or in MM/DD/YY, December 13th 2014 at 10:11:12. With 24 hour time, there are even more) occurring all the time. This requires profound ignorance of other cultures, time periods you are not alive in, and simple math and reason, which I don't think anyone who is not American could have possibly failed so badly in simultaneously without being committed.
