Credit cards are evil. Stay far far away from them. I speak from personal experience.

A lot of people max out multiple credit cards, and never pay them back. Its called debt, and its the leading cause of suicide in the united states.

            It's also called stupidity.

My family is no stranger to debt, it's just an unfortunate side-effect of life.

No its not called stupidity. People make mistakes, or are you perfect? Most people don't realize the long term debt that you get into with credit cards because companies aren't about to warn you ahead of time are they? Also a lot of people charge things and then pay them off when they get the bill. The problem with that is, what if you lose your job or some other tragedy happens before the bill comes and you don't have the money? That doesn't make you stupid, thats called life.

                  No it makes you stupid.

This isn't people making "mistakes". You don't max out a card you don't have money in the bank to pay back. If you live paycheck to paycheck aka no money in tha BANK, then perhaps you don't need a credit card.
Get a better job or lower your quality of life. People suffer because the make choices that cause them to.

Have a kid on the way and cannot afford it?
                  shouldn't had sex....

                  Got in a car wreck?
                  shouldn't had car insurance

Got in an accident at work working machinery?
                  Shouldn't been high

There is a cause and effect to every aspect of life.

                  1) I was reffurring to maxing out your credit card, and not paying it back. That's stupid.

                  2) Don't spend what you don't have. That's the way to build credit correctly. If you don't have the money for something, don't be STUPID and do not purchase it. Its called money management, and if you know simple math, its not that hard.

If your "one" of those stupid people, I'm sorry, I'm not singling you out, unfrotunately, my parents fall under that category too. If the credit card companys were not allowed to brutally rape people, it would never happen, but that doesn't mean someone isn't stupid for making terribad desicions.

Like my desicion to spell horribley. I'm a fucking moron for it. Its the truth. The truth will set you free. The truth can hurt, but its still the truth.

You see, I tend not to judge people like you do. Who am I to say what they did was stupid since I didn't live their lives and go through what they did. I think its stupid for you to do that but thats my judgemental opinion. (Fyi, how extremely disrespectful to basically call your parents stupid because of mistakes they made in life. Obviously, you are saying that you've learned from their mistakes and won't get in debt like they did, so don't you owe them the respect of teaching you a very valuable life lesson?)

And no I'm not one of those stupid people, I am one of those people that had a great job, who's husband had a great job, and then the shit hit the fan. I didn't plan to come down with a life threatening disease, it just happened. My husband didn't plan on being forced to retire, it just happened. He also didn't plan on being handicapped, but he is. We didn't plan on having to support our daughter and her 2 sons, but we are. Shit happens and you deal with it but sometimes it impacts your life in many ways.

                      Hypocrite much?

Btw, Judging is human nature, and perfectly acceptable. In fact judging someone is an equal sin to that of being a hypocrite, like calling someone a judgemental person while you judge the shit outta them during the accusation.

I'm life shoved shit in your face. One of the few debt wasn't caused by stupidity (on some part, I don't know the daughter story, but with two kids an no husband aside from divorce and death its called STUPID MISTAKE. So stupid(my standpoint) AND mistake (your standpoint).) Sure ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, but majority of the time, its stupid mistakes, like i listed before. Pregnacy, car wrecks, losing jobs for your neglegence, and just blind spending. Greed too.

Its not disrespectful, my parents knew they didn't have the money, realized it would put them into debt, as my mother told my father it would, and he said "Its ok, let them take the money from my cold dead hands lol. So no, thanks for judging and assuming tho.

No the first was called a question. Do you know what that is?

The second is called a fact. It is disrespectful to call your parents stupid.

                            cadoxangelus,

It's Friday the 13th, (least it is here in afghan) and so I've got a good #13 for my list, for you.

                            13. Success has a tendency to cloud one's vision of the way life is. Don't let this happen. So you move out, with your GF, your job goes good, you stay out of debt, and you get good grades in school. That is awesome.
Don't you ever take it for granted.
You had to work for those things, and if something happens, and something get's taken away, don't feel like it was your stupidity that caused it to happen. Sometimes life can go to shit in a heart beat.

Just thought of something else. HAMBURGER HELPER!!!!!!!!! If you become a master of Hamburger Helper, you will become invincible lol. Well not really, but my brother used to make this amazing Hamburger Helper Lasagna and it would be so good that everybody would talk about it afterwards. It can very cheaply feed a few people, and if you cook enough you can refrigerate it and have leftovers the next day. (That's if your roomates don't eat it all and don't tell you.)

Its true, hamburger helper is 99c a box and like 6 bucks for a coupla pounds of hamburger that you will use for lots of things.

These cheap and effiecient 8 dollar meals would feed you and you gf and your roomie and GIVE YOU LEFTOVERS, and it tastes good, for the price of ONE of you to eat at tacobell.
