One of my co-workers in accounting informed me of a update to the IRS Website. Recovery Rebate Credit Information Center This lists how you can possibly obtain last year's stimulus package this time around. When I filed my taxes in 2006 and 2007, I mistakenly filed that my parents could claim me as a dependent which I didn't know at the time that they cannot. Since I claimed that they could, I was not eligible for the 2007 stimulus in 2008. I ended up filing a ammendment which I received the money back for, but I never received the stimulus package. I guess I'll be able to receive it this year (YAY MONEY FOR A NEW COMPUTER MONITOR!!!!). So pass that link on to anyone that you know should've received their stimulus, but for one of the listed reasons in the link did not get it.
Edit: Probably should've been called the 2008 Stimulus instead, but since it was based on your 2007 taxes, I went with 2007.
