Drinking to excess is for children (immature adults) and for fools.
While I agree with this, define excess. Yes, I'm getting drunk, but I'm doing it with a group of friends that are going to crash at my house tonight (All 21+ adults, This is my first New Years being over 21). Yes, I do like to get drunk from time to time, but it's not a problem. I get drunk at most, every 3-4 weeks. I don't think there's anything immature about this. TBH, most "immature adults" who drink to excess are under 21 (17-21 age range).
Oh, and btw, if I ever need a designated driver, I'm gonna be sure to hit up these forums first, lmao.

4 Vodka Cranberry, 2 Whiskey Sours, 1 Cosmopolitan, and a little Champagne at midnight. Moderate inebriation only, no stumble-puke-and-fall-over drunkness.
Alcoholic beverages are good for you (in moderation).
Remember to start an evening by hydrating yourself (you can tell because your urine will be clear), and drink water during and after consumption. This will prevent dehydration which is the primary cause of that headache you get the next day. Sulfates from Champagne and other alcoholic beverages can also cause headaches in people who are sensitive to them, but some beverages seem to be worse than others--I had a bad experience with some Korbel--I got a headache while drinking it and have never bought it since (of course that could have been coincidental, but I don't care).
It turned out the only thing I had to drink was Nyquil, stupid head cold.
