  • So much for the Secret Service. (Bush in Iraq)

Or Bush gets pwned Agent 86 style.

    From CNN.

"President Bush made a farewell visit Sunday to Baghdad, Iraq, where he met with Iraqi leaders and was targeted by an angry Iraqi man, who jumped up and threw shoes at Bush during a news conference.

Among Muslims, throwing shoes at someone, or sitting so that the bottom of a shoe faces another person, is considered an insult."

I actually saw this on the news earlier while watching Fareed Zakaria.

Fell out of my chair laughing (Oh and Fareed had a really good interview with Colin Powel)

When you are disliked as much as he is you have to be alert at all times or you probably wont make it out of your 2nd term.

That shoe woulda got him square in the head if he wasn't paying attention like that. That guy doing the throwing must have had a lot of experience to get that accurate with a pair of shoes that fast (the second one got deflected by the guy in the podium next to him, but was still squarely aimed at his head).

We really need someone to make a matrix music, bullet-time, slow-mo sound effect version of that video.

You fall asleep while your Input/Output carrier signal is being disrupted to get you out of the pods.

The Blue pill just sedates people who don't want to get out of the Matrix so red pills can leave thme in a safe place without risking having an Agent pop in the process.

If "The One" did it, it would probably cause the matrix to reset.

I love the cocky grin he gets, too.

Honestly, when I heard he was in Iraq, I thought "you know, I still wouldn't mind seeing him assasxxxxted."

Then I remembered that would give us President Cheney.

I didn't realize that throwing shoes at people was not an insult in other, non-Muslim cultures.
