Reloading a page here was starting to take far too long and I noticed that it was loading something from pixel.quantserve.com. Looking at the page source the site is loading javascript or a 1x1 pixel gif from edge.quantserve.com.
Obviously, quantserve.com is not ffxionline.com so that looked odd. A little Google search says this javascript/gif image is depositing a tracking cookie.
Is this something purposeful that PiNG is using? It looks like they are associated with some ad networks, but if the sites policy is not to show ads to subscribed members then placing a spyware tracking cookie on every page goes against that policy ever so slightly.
