    Black Friday/Sales Melee

    Our local Walmart competitor Meijer which is only in northern states (MI, IL, IN, OH, and KY) had a bunch of Blu-Rays on sale today for 9.99 starting at 6:00 AM-12:00AM. The only 2 that really interested me on the list were Transporter and Transporter 2. Of course I got up late at around 10:00AM today and drove up to Meijer and they had none of the Blu-Rays on that page. Took the ad to another Walmart and they didn't have a big selection. Took the ad to the new Walmart that they just built last year, picked up both Transporter 1, Transporter 2, and a Wii-Fit. Of course the Wii Fit was the only one there so it was calling my name lol. Thanksgiving and Black Friday shopping = done.

        Yep. I counted this into black Friday since $9.99 for a Blu-Ray is pretty funny imo. I meant to ask in the first post if anybody is going out into the melee on Friday? I will not be there lol. I tried to go out like 2 years ago and got stuck in Best Buy's parking lot because since there was nowhere to park, everybody had parked however they could fit in and there was a train going all over the lot. I ended up going home and going back out after the early bird sales were over to melee for a pretty good deal on DVDs back when they were all over 9.99, now the majority of the more popular older dvds are less 5-7.99.

          Ah a break in the madness! Thought I'd pop on the forums while making my Black Friday shopping list. So, to answer your question, yes I will be out in the fray tomorrow. I have a "me" list and a gift list. LOL Seems my "me" list is a tad long! There are quite a few good deals to be had! Many places are allowing online shopping so before heading out, check their website!

                  Just drove by Best Buy on the way home a little bit ago. Already a decent line...and its raining. I laughed.
                  Saw in the flyer they're gonna have BD's for $17. Pretty awsome for BD's. As for TV's, I've heard rumors that pre-Super Bowl is a better time to buy a tv than on Black Friday.

                    Ever since I got a black eye and bloody nose from an "incident" with some crazy crap that was for sale, that I was not even interested in.... I dont even leave the house on Black Friday..... not even for work -.-

                      Are any of the sells available online? I'd love to take advantage of BluRay sells and maybe game sells if there's some good ones. I'm out of country though

                        My Sports Challenge 6-in-1 Wireless Remote Control Video - QVC.com my mom was looking at this on QVC today, make sure you watch the video on the page. LOL its a cheap ripoff Wii Sports.

                            Yes Susurrus, you can buy most of the items online. I've already been to the Best Buy website and purchased the Blu's that I wanted. I also wanted to pick up the PS3 deal but its not available online. /em shakes her fist at Best Buy!

                              BluRay options on best buy seem rather limited (to just Transformers...........).

                              Nothing against Transformers, but I already own it on HDDVD.
