I will most certainly be going as the guy who stays in and gets drunk by himself because he hates Halloween more than anyone could possibly imagine and just got into a big fight with his g/f because she wanted him to go to a stupid costume party and he said no and he knows he can't go to the bar because it'll just be full of Halloween idiots so his only happiness is a 30 case of Old Style and the sign on the apartment door that says "NO WE DO NOT WELCOME TRICK-OR-TREATERS".


I pull it off pretty convincingly.

I love Halloween even if it is really commercial, but it has been for a couple hundred years now so that doesn't really bother me. On the other hand Xmas is kind of bothering me, its to commercial, and to many people shopping, or going to parties and getting drunk. I just think people in this world have forgot why we celebrate Chistmas, and it is sad. We celebrate Xmas, because of the birth of jesus, not for how much we can spend on presents, etc.

I am sad to say, but people especaily in the US have lost what it is to mean to be free or have lost all faith in god (or gods depending on your religion)

Even if you dont celebrate Xmas, you celebrate something, and still 9/10 it is commercail based too.

Which I might be making my sister a costume for this time around, we shall see though. If I make her one she wants me to dress up as something, and I don't know if I want to or not. Plus any costume I do is most likely going to be time intensive.

Yeah, for most of them, I generally hate all holidays outside of St. Patrick's Day and 4th of July, since I can get completely shitfaced and it's acceptable behavior. Aside from the commercialization part which is absurdly annoying, especially for Christmas since that starts in FUCKING JULY(SIDE RANT: IF YOU WANT ME TO CARE ABOUT JESUS' BIRTHDAY STOP ADVERTISING IT 6 MONTHS PRIOR), Halloween basically takes all the things I normally hate about holidays and then adds little kids to it which I also despise. The only reason Christmas is slightly worse is that I can ignore Halloween, but I'm forced to celebrate Christmas since my family is still aware that I continue to breath.
