    Re: Hackers infiltrate Palin's e-mail

    The world must know!!!

With all the shit flying around about her, it makes me wonder if they did it for their own giggles or for someone elses giggles and their jingles.

Scandle is scandle. It would appear that they didn't find much in that account. Why again is it that it seems the many stand united against her?

It is somewhat old, but nobody bothered posting it here.

Sarah Palin Emails: Sarah Palin's Personal Emails

Personally, I would think this was way over the line... if not for her using private email accounts for official business. Whether she was just being incredibly unprofessional or was actively using them to attempt to hide them from the public and herself from accountability I won't pretend to know, but either one is completely unacceptable. When you start mixing your professional and private life, and your professional life happens to involve the possibility of becoming the next-in-line to one of the most powerful positions on the planet (militarily speaking, at least), don't complain about souring your own milk.

Because even once you get over how personally awful she is (against abortion, even in cases of rape; allowed rape victims to be charged up to $1200 for tests to find their attacker(s); do some googling on how she thinks she's doing god's work) she also represents the GOP and McCain campaign as a whole (flat out lying, see factcheck.org . sexism, not only in her policies but in her role as the 'token women' to replace Hillary. Really, look up her vetting. McCain met with her ONCE, she wasn't considered until after Hillary's speech. For that matter, blatant irresponsibility for the sake of personal political gains at the expense of the country; in general. )

There's a huge and ever growing (due to McCain's ignorance of vetting, and the media doing it for him and the public) stack of things to dislike about her. I honestly can't remember all of them anymore. See http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/off...p-nominee.html for MOST of the ones up until about a week ago.

I also highly recommend checking out Hulu - The Daily Show with Jon Stewart - Full Episodes and Clips streaming online for free . It's a comedy show, but the past few weeks they've been doing a much better job of pointing out all of the lying and hypocrisy from politicians than the major news networks have. I'd honestly consider TDS, coupled with factcheck.org , as being more hard hitting than CNN, FOX, MSNBC, or other news networks; even including some pundits. TDS (and Colbert Report) have an obvious liberal bias, but all the bias in the world can't make a liar tell the truth. Factcheck.org is neutral, but they don't tend to be nearly as direct and to-the-point. And before someone asks why most of the articles on factcheck.org are critical of McCain if they aren't biased, "reality has a well known liberal bias."

I guess my underlying point was that she's a politician, and like the politicians that have gone before her and the ones that will come after her, she's gonna play this game in the same manner that every politician plays the game. She's gonna lie, cheat, steal, bribe, and lie some more. The only reason that people really hate this lady is that she bucks the status quo for your 'typical' politician with a small town attitude and her beliefs.

I have to agree that hacking her email accounts was garbage. I honestly don't think that the people responsible for that went in there looking to see if she was doing gov. work from a personal account of vica versa. That's a load. They went in there to find what ever it was that they could find. All that they posted was all that they found.

Perhaps you're just peachy keen with it. Sane people are not. If you're voting for McCain/Palin, you have to endorse those things, because there is no question that they have done it shamelessly and repeatedly. You have to believe that everyone does it, otherwise you couldn't possibly forgive yourself for voting for them. All politicians may stretch things, be incorrect, or be wrong. That doesn't mean they're all total scumbags.

laughable. I listed about a dozen great reasons for people to hate her that have nothing to do with the 'status quo'. If the bucking of 'typical' beliefs include forcing rape victims to suffer and abusing your power to your own benefit (see: troopergate, firing the police chief for political reasons, taking a per diem while staying at her personal residence), then I'd like to keep those typical beliefs. If a small town attitude involves obtaining nearly $27 million in funds for a town of under 6000, well over $200 million to build a bridge, and then claiming you're 'against earmarks and pork barrel spending' (not to mention clearly and repeatedly saying that you were against that project!), I'll stick with a big city attitude.

If being blatantly ignorant and not caring (See: Gibson interview when asked about the Bush Doctrine ;; http://www.nytimes.com/2008/09/14/us...in&oref=slogin -- specifically, "Ms. Chase read the book, which helps children understand homosexuality, and said it was inoffensive; she suggested that Ms. Palin read it. “Sarah said she didn’t need to read that stuff,” Ms. Chase said. “It was disturbing that someone would be willing to remove a book from the library and she didn’t even read it.” ;; McCain's incident of confusing shiite and sunni, in matters of al Qaeda, before quickly being corrected McCain Misspeaks on Iran, Al Qaeda - The Caucus Blog - NYTimes.com ; and other various incidents where McCain or Palin act or speak without thinking and quite usually being completely ignorant to the facts) is atypical, I'll stick to typical.

That said, there's nothing wrong with not being part of the status quo. Given how much this election has become about change and reform, the status quo is a negative if anything. Saying "Oh, it's because she's not a Washington insider!" is nearly as stupid as saying "Oh, it's all sexism!".

Sarah Palin is a candidate for the Vice Presidency of the United States. She not only SHOULD be criticized, picked apart, deeply investigated and pressed on facts, but NEEDS to be. It doesn't matter if she's from New York or Wyoming, if she has a vagina or a penis, if her skin tone is red or brown, or if she's Hindu or Wiccan. What matters are her personal integrity (scary), her stance on important issues (mostly scary), her knowledge of things relevant to her job (also mostly scary), and her political past (again, scary). Hiding behind her sex, origins, skin color, or what she had for breakfast is just that: Hiding. Saying "Oh, nobody actually thinks Sarah Palin is loathable, they just don't like how she's not part of Washington" is as asinine as saying "Oh, nobody actually disagrees with Barack Obama, they all just hate black people.".

You say that like Obama and his asshole running mate wouldn't do the same. We both know that they will(lie, cheat, and steal). Only a fool thinks any politician or political group wouldn't.

Not only do I not endorse those things, I hate them. And a vote for them isn't an endorsement for the lying, cheating, and stealing. It is however voting for what I feel is the lesser of the two evils. I'll take the McCain camp lying to my face and doing the aforementioned before I vote for some wet fart of a man who wants to help the U.S. become a bit more socialist. This country didn't start out being socialist. I didn't serve to protect a socialist country, and I won't vote for a man that wants to make it as such. You sir are however entitled to vote for him if you wish. Thank the founding fathers and some war vets for that. They made sure you kept the right to toss my country in the fucking toilet.

You have to believe that everyone does it, otherwise you couldn't possibly forgive yourself for voting for them.
That statement is as equally as laughable as you found my opinion. I won't be forgiving myself for voting McCain's ticket. I'll do it, not like it, and live with the consequences. It's better than Obama. Hell, I absolutely hate Hillary...but I'd vote for her before I voted for this meathead.

I listed about a dozen great reasons...
You can't count. Well maybe you can. I don't know. Where you counting other threads? All I got from this one was:

"Evil anti-abortion woman yada yada, token female yada yada, udderly despisable yada yada(pun intended), sexism yada yada." and such similar comments. I get it. You hate her. You really like Obama. It's okay. You are allowed. Granted I think your an idiot for it(putting your vote for Obama), but you're still allowed.

I love how you injected you personal beliefs in there. It sucked the effectiveness of your statement down to near zero...so I can only agree with you on this....

I'd like to mess with this statement more, but I'm actually off to a gunshow with the wife. I need a few magazines for my AK and a few thousand rounds. The wife is after AR magazines and a few thousand rounds. I need to get going before I run out of steam. Graveyards is getting old.....

So she used her zip code as her security question?

With her cryptic skillz and McCain's ability to read e-mails (even if it's his employees who are actually using the computer) the US can be certain the internetz will be completely safe if they are elected. d(^^d)

What? What is this e-mail you speak of? Being from the south, I'm too much of a Redneck to figure it out. It's hard enough figuring out how to post on this dagnabit forum.

Are you serious? Is he serious?

You're announcing your plan to vote for the republican party after everything we've seen out of the last 8 years and turning around and accusing the other side of tossing "your" country into the toilet? Vote for who you want, but get a grasp on reality here. Lesser of two evils sure: a minority with a message (albeit unclear one) of change, or 72yr old, cancer infested war-monger that's sure to keep up the practices of our currently inept leader.

People in this country are so wrapped up in their own partisan attitudes that they have total blinders on. Republicans: "Liberals have ruined this country, and they'll take your guns." Dems: "Conservatives are ruining this country, and they stop our abortions."

Vote Ron Paul people, or write your own name in if you really want the lesser of all the evils.

p.s. the founding fathers would be utterly appalled and disgusted with the current state of our country if they were alive today.

The founding fathers would have been disgusted long ago when the federal reserve got its way. They would also be appalled with the income tax, hell it even says in your constitution it is an illegal tax, unless they passed an amendment to that section to allow it (which I don't think happened since it was enacted under a war-time measures act which is null and void at the cessation of the war)

Palin scares the shit out of me. I despise the fact that she doesn't support Abortion at all unless it's a risk to the mother's life, and also supports Abstinence only sexual education in schools. So what, we won't teach kids how to not get pregnant, and then when they do, oh well?

After how great the War on Drugs has been going so far, I see Palin's "War on Sex" to be equally effective...i.e., a complete and utter failure.
