Re: Incoming Rant
And the saga continues........
So yesterday I sent the Brewers an email explaining in detail what happened. Well I just got off the phone with the head of customer relations. The head....the big kahuna.....and he treated me like shit. He veiled his sarcasm with "I'm sorry"'s and "Let us make this up to you"'s but when I got off the phone I felt like I was the person that did something wrong.
"Why didn't you..." "Why did you wait..." "You should have..." etc etc. WTF is wrong with people? He was more concerned with the part of my email where I said "You wonder why people aren't coming out to the game? This is a HUGE part." than he was in what happened. He told me he 3-4 times he was offended by me saying that in my email. Well buddy, were you at the game yesterday? At least 1/3 or more of the seats were empty. Oh ya thats right, you consider the lower tier seats and boxes to be the entire stadium, well its not. There were plenty of open seats in those levels too...but I guess it doesn't matter just as long as they sold.
Then I found out that the guy I thought was a security guard was a police officer. I was angry when I went to him but I thought he was a cop. I saw him from the back talking to someone and I went to him and he didn't fully face me when I talked to him and after he talked to the drunks he disappeared. Then the drunks came back and kept calling him a security guard so I thought "Oh I was wrong, that was a guard and not a cop." Silly me! They were just being disrespectful. ><
He tried to twist my story and make it seem like I was lying. I told him a Guest Relations guy wasn't by our section until the 5 or so inning. Yet he kept saying stuff like "Well you said a GR guy was there and he would have taken care of this if it did happen..." NOT UNTIL AFTER THE 5th INNING IDIOT! By then most of the bs had happened. After I got off the phone my son came up to me and said "Mom that GR guy was joking with the people behind us. When the 2 girls went to smoke the looked at them and laughed saying that he had to keep an eye on them for the girls."
The guy basically said it was my fault that I didn't go to the GR guy and explain everything that I had already explained to the cop. OH WAIT....you mean their staff doesn't communicate with one another!? The cop didn't think to let GR's know that there was an issue in that particular section? Then why did the GR guy come to the section RIGHT AFTER we complained to the cop and the cop talked to the drunks? Why was the GR guy standing with his back to the game and staring straight at them? Coincedence? Ya....riiiiiiiiiiiiight.
Then he threw out that I should have sat in the "Family" section. I quickly told him that the family section was sold out and this was the overflow section FOR THE FAMILY SECTION...so basically the second Family section........the twit. He then turned it back to the "see the Family section was sold out! I told you that we've been selling out for the past 13 games...." Dot...Dot...Dot...
It seemed like he was just trying to blame anyone (including me) for this not being the ballparks problem. He even went as far as to say "We don't have these type of problems with afternoon games. Nowhere else in the stadium were there any incidents. It's very unusual that you had this problem and then not noting the names and the police officers behavior was odd...." Ya...so basically just call me a liar why don't you? I told him that I did NOT imagine the incident and I have 2 other adults here that he can talk to if he'd like to verify the information. Oh then he started doing some back pedalling and said they'd like to make it up to us...blah blah blah....
He offered us tickets to another game... I'm not too thrilled. I told him we'd think about it and he gave me his personal number. I have yet to call him back but when I do I'm going to let him know how his call made me feel......not like he'll care because obviously people in the Brewers organization don't care.
