Didn't a guy with an assault rifle kill 3 teens and wounded another in the US like yesterday or something?

Having gun control doesn't stop this kind of violence (see the stabbings in Japan) but it most certainly reduce the amount of casualties.

Assault rifles are pretty much illegal here. If people want a gun they'll get one, legal or not.

Did you ever sit on a plane next to someone who's so big they are spilling out of their seat and into yours? You know those seats are so small that even average people feel cramped in them and then you're sharing your set with someones "spillover"? /sigh
