I wasn't in scouts at any point in my life, but I have this to say in response to TGM's post. In foods class (Pretty much home economics, but with cooking as the only focus) I would juggle sharp knives while I waited for my group to get a pot of water to boil, and my teacher warned me that if I broke the knives, I'd have to buy new ones.
