The Rhythm method should only be used by couples that have been together for some time. It also should be used as a last resort since there is a much higher chance of pregnancy than other methods.

Jarre brings up a valid point about restraint. Rhythm method also needs to be used by people that can restrain themselves, which is difficult for some. As for the health of the woman, this plays a significant factor. If the young lady does not have a regular, like clockwork, menstrual cycle then the Rhythm method can be a total disaster. Unfortunately even women that have nearly perfect cycles can have off months and it just takes one time and hello Mama and Papa.

^ Exactly. This describes my wife to the a T. When my wife and I were younger, we called the pullout the pull-n-pray. I wised up when I realised that both of us get caught in the throws of passion, way more than we could control so appropriate measures were taken I'd never use one of the other methods again, even if my wife were in the nightee and rearin to go. It's safeway or noway in this house, until we can afford to get the snipsnip done.

So true, neither of my boys were planned. We thought we were "counting" correctly, well, not quite. Obviously. :lmao:

All I'm gonna say is that my management accounting teacher made the comment one day that all 5 of his kids were conceived in some backwater town he was working in where him and his wife had pretty much no source of entertainment.

So yeah, I can see this happening. I can also see people trying to be cheap and not buying the various preventive stuff.

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I don't have a big ego, it just has a large mouth.
