This is why people invited fufu drinks so they don't have to taste the alcohol. Personally, I enjoy the taste. Oh well, as long as everyone is happy.

Well if you don't like it in the first place, why would you drink it anyway? The only reason I can think of is to get drunk. Which is a very stupid reason.

You completely failed to understand the idea I mentioned earlier: moderation. There are plenty of instances when the main goal of drinking alcohol isn't to get drunk. There's a difference between a buzz or loosening up a little, and getting drunk or smashed.

You don't like the taste of cough syrup, but you take it anyway. Do most people drink enough cough syrup (dextromethorphan) to get high? No. They moderate a dose.

There is a difference, but society today is all for getting absolutely blabbered for as cheap as possible, most cities in the Uk at certain times of night are no go zones as any innocent sober bystander is likely to get started on for nothing.

At university if ou don't drink alcahol you are outcast, you are seen as theirs something wrong with you in the Uk's society if you don't drink alcahol while going out. I'v been started on before because I wasn't drinking alcahol. i was told by this pisshead that "I don't deserve to live here, I'm probably some secret muslim trying to scout a joint to bomb it" (those words were actually used, I was shocked, then he punched me to the floor before some of the doormen dragged him away) I have never been out on the town since. Most of my friends have been to hospital with injuries from being started on by pissheads. That video i posted is just one of hundreds of thousands taken by CCTV every day. They did a documentary called booze britain and managed to fill 20 episodes of 30 minutes each episode of incidients relating to pissheads from one town of 100,000 population, it was filmed during 2 weekends.

It is true that a night out in britain always ends in a fight, and its not jsut the blokes fighting, women are becoming more violent and are starting to drink more alcahol than ever before. The true statistic is that 90% of all arrests from drunken assaults the assaulter gets a fine at most and no jail time. when you read through some of the brief court information the defendants solicitor (lawyer) always says "Mr/Miss/Mrs ........ had consumed a large quantity of alcahol and was unable to control themselves, they are not normaly like this when they are sober" they always say it as if its a genuine excuse. if you can't control yourself when your under the influence, then don't feking get under the influence!!!!

The girls next door would go to the cheapest place possible, buy some alcopops, about 3 each, just enough to get them started to being drunk. Then go to one bar to buy 80p drinks! 80 friggin pence! Then go to a club! where they;d but less more expencive drinks! It's no wonder why the girl next door met her best friend outside collapsed on the second day, how she was on suicide watch all year and why she's not carrying themarried, ex security guards baby!

And those girls wonder why I don't drink! I'm sorry but when you all have a story about throwing up over yourself and have another about sitting in the toilet *yes IN* and looking at a bathroom tile for 4 hours straight, you have problems!

Not boring Kuro, just got some sense. we rescued a lass from a student house fire, she was asleep when her fag set fire to her blanket, she was so pissed she didn't even wake up. her flat mates tried to get to her but couldn't and raised the alarm as a PR job (persons reported) it was down the road from the station so we were able to get to her quickly and pull her out via the bedroom window. she got 3rd degree burns and is scared for life. The doctors said that if she wasn't so drunk she would have been able to wake up and put herself out and get out.

I never knew drinking could get that intense as a community.. Such an insane amount of abuse as widespread as that.... /facepalm

The thing about RI is that there isn't shit else to do in this terrible state. I can't wait to finish college and go back to NYC, because living up here is the WORST.

Seriously, just watching this people fall apart is a very sad and pathetic spectacle.

Specially when they are all violent and try to bully people around them, only to turn into little kids the moment you throw them to the floor. Scratch the sad part, it's pretty disgusting now that I think about it.
