I've eaten Bison but many many years ago. It is a very dense steak and I prefer more tender meat.

I know that eating steak 3 times in a week isn't good for me but right now I'm like a kid with a new toy. No steak for 25 years and then BAM! you can eat it. You'd want it every dang day too. LOL I'll chill eventually but right now I just want to eat it for a while and then I'll go down to once every 2 weeks. Oh and btw, so rare it moo's is how I like mine.

Red meat is good for ya, puts hair on your chest...there's more to a ribeye and I think they taste about the same.

That shouldn't matter. You should have citizenship by birth if you were born to an American citizen. You might need to CLAIM your citizenship and prove it; but you should already technically be a citizen by birth.

While this is mostly true, under the U.S. nationality law, Malacite has a few prereqs that his parents had to have conformed to in order for him to be born a U.S. citizen (I'm assuming you were born outside the U.S. otherwise you're obviously already a citizen).

1. Both parents were U.S. citizens at the time of the child's birth
2. At least one parent lived in the United States prior to the child's birth.

Related to the OT, I had nothing to celebrate on 4th of July. Due to my own personal opinions of the current state of America and the world, sitting at home celebrating the tragic misinterpretation of what it means to live in a democracy while shooting off fireworks that came from China (roughly $207B on fireworks from China this year) wasn't really my cup of joe. Fourth a July meant a lot more to me when I was young because I wasn't old enough to understand the workings of the world... Well no one is ever that old, but I'm mature enough to understand parts of it.

yes, and pretty much anyone who is considered American and lives in the states would meet them.

My mom's Canadian, and I was born in March of 86. But, I have a lot of family living across the US (pretty much my dad's entire side of the family) so I hope that helps.

Why oh WHY do I come to the good threads late?

I'm getting to the point that if my old man don't start getting off his ass and doing things with me, there's gonna be a grandma back on the f**king market.

I'll start the bidding with 500 gil, and a Datochan/Muteppo combo!

On the various meats debate, my vote goes for deer, it's good stuff. Although I find that I'm favoring fish more as I get older (as if 23 is old!) Halibut is always good stuff, but I just like a good fish stew, or chowder, or something like that.

You just can't beat grilled halibut sandwiches with grilled onions/tomatoes though!

Oh I absolutely love fish. It's just that with no beef (except hamburger) for 25 years, I'm going a little crazy now that I can eat it. Yes venison is great if made correctly. Rule of thumb, cook it with another fatty meat and it will be tender, moist, and delicious. I had to teach my neighbor how to butcher and cook a deer after her b/f brought it home during hunting season. She told me straight out that if I didn't the relationship was over........and I liked having her for a neighbor damn it! LOL

i like fish, but only if i can see where it came from. Trout when I'm camping and fishing and seafood when I'm in a city near the coast. Been burned too many times by bad fish in land-locked west texas.

Interesting, I haven't heard of that before, is that with ground meat or steaks?

And how did your neighbor not know how to butcher a deer? It should be about the same as a sheep, which my Dad and I used to do all the time after we got mad at the job the butcher did.
