Agreed, especially after that arrogant, self-centered speech she gave tonight. I can't believe even now, for all her talk about "doing what's best for the party" she'd still be so self serving. But then, Bill ain't no angel either.


I think Edwards would be his best bet.

Even though I'm not in the coutnry I for one am happy to see this, The US needs a fresh face and direction and I think Obama is this. I jsut hope he wins the presidency now and not that 70 year old vietnam war veteran who'd have his fingers all over the "destroy the world" button.

Clinton would help him get a lot more votes than Edwards would, but I still think John is better suited for the job. She's really the antithesis of Obama (the Status Quo) even though they see almost eye to eye on nearly everything.

I don't like Edwards any more than I like Hillary Clinton. Someone else, please.

Also, the McCain-bashing shows the ignorance towards his approach to things. He's just about as far from a Bush minion as you could get, which is why hyper-conservatives on both sides have been against him from the start. He's one of those scary moderate-types that tend to grab swing voters. Obama is more or less another scary moderate type, which will make this the most interesting election in the last decade or two.

Neither candidate is a complete and utter tool this time.

I'll see it as winning when Hillary Clinton no longer has leverage to put McCain in the White House. She hasn't conceded yet, I assume angling for a VP slot or a prime speaking slot at the DNC convention. If she doesn't get what she wants, she's still positioned to claim the party is taking advantage of her and run as in independent or 3rd party candidate. That splits most of the left, leaving McCain and Obama to fight over the center. McCain has to really blow it at that point to lose the campaign.

A few months back I was really hoping for a 3rd party ticket that was at least somewhat plausible. I'm hoping it doesn't come this way, though. That would be depressing at the least. As much as we need more parties and viewpoints in American politics, making major failing policies drag on for another 4 years while you do it is a price I'm unwilling to pay.

to be honest there are alot of Rasict asses out there. So i really dont think obama is going to win.
