  • The torture that is Alaska is at an end (again).

Well, as I post this, I'm back in the Seattle-Tacoma Intl Airport on a 6 hr layover, omw back to Japan. I can't say I didn't have a bit of fun in Fairbanks, but it's boring as fuck there in Eielson AFB. I'll be getting back online in about a day from now, and will be back to regular posting shenannigans not too long after that.

Can't wait to get back and get spun up for this next update. Hopefully it's not too long out from going live.

Welcome to Sea-Tac, at least it's fairly nice weather up here today.

Although it's normally fairly nice weather around here anyway, but people like to grouse about the weather regardless.

I kinda miss the UW now that I've graduated from it, transfer students from California were always funny to watch.

        Day 1:

CA transfer students are on their cell phones, talking about the rain, wind, etc, taking a few pictures of the, "torrential downpour", that is actually a modest rainfall. All the while they are running around having fun in the rain.

        Day 3:

CA transfer students are on their cell phones complaining about the, "damn rain", that is actually a fairly light drizzle that is almost more of a heavy mist than actual rain, while holding newspapers over their heads as they run helter-skelter in their heavy clothing between buildings.

Meanwhile I'm just strolling along in my Tshirt debating whether or not I should go buy a pair of shorts

It's too bad you probably won't be here in July, there should be an interesting Hawaiian concert then, I'm looking forward to hearing Kealii Reichel live.

You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be misqouted and then used against you.

I don't have a big ego, it just has a large mouth.

Lol good job they havn;t gone to University in Manchester UK, they don't call it the rainy city for nothin! Poised to teh west of the pennines, Manchester is the wettest city in the UK having rain dumped on it as the clouds rise up the hillsides of the pennines that stretch down the middle of the middle portion of the uk.

Well, I'm back home in good ol' Misawa, and am unpacking as I type this. Once I hook up my 360 and my shiny new Wii (score), I'll be enjoying FFXI again, but this time with added Mario Kart and SSBB action in the background lol.

I lived in Anchorage for about six years, and I had friends in Fairbanks I would visit on a regularly basis, and that city does have jack shit to do, although it is nowhere near as bad as the drive up from Anchorage (where you will go hours without seeing anything at all.
