Bill Belichick of the Patriots just said that there was absolutely no intent to deceive other teams or the NFL in videotaping all their plays.

Of course, this had absolutely nothing to do with the Pat's 16-0 streak that was only broken by losing the SuperBowl. Nah, knowing what opponents are doing at all times doesn't give you one teeny advantage, not a one.

I hope my kids don't grow up thinking this is what sportsmanship is about.

You know, I was going to rant about how it's a key point of any game to study strategy, but then I remembered how barbarous football was. I'm amazed that game still has any rules, though.

Hi this is reality calling, they didn't tape the plays... They knew the god damn plays from watching televised football. It is legal to tape the Plays in game the issue was taping the coaches to get the signals for plays and audibles.

BS, there was intent to deceive. If there hadnt been they wouldn't have tried to hide it.
Truth is, it probably made little difference in the outcome of most their games (they weren't doing it much if at all last year, NFL found out early in the season and they were being watched the whole time). However, I've never like him and this just gives me more reason to hate him.
