Playing down Fox News is so 2001, people.

Most, if not all televised media, is corrupted somehow by political bias. Pick your poison and live with it, you're a fool if you think your media of choice is always playing it straight with you.

Let's try some fun flavor words that imply positional bias.

"Pro-Life" and "Pro-Choice" - This generally puts a positive spin on both sides of the abortion issue, yet are also rather neutral terms. Both push the positives of thier outlook. When such terms are used, we can generally assume that the media recognizes the issue for the hot-button topic it is. These terms are less inflammatory and support both views.

"Pro-Abortion" or "Anti-Life" and "Anti-Abortion" or"Anti-Choice" - This is where the spinning begins, folks. These terms are volitile and they're intended to be. Saying "pro-abortion" is basically saying those mean Pro-Choicers are heartless baby killers, turning the "pro" into a negative. Calling a pro-choicer "anti-life" runs on the verge of calling someone Hitler. Meanwhile the "Anti" in Anti-Abortion/Choice is intended to make the Pro Lifer the bad guy, he's against choice and abortion. They're evil!

These terms also serve to undermine common goals both sides usually advocate.

Sexual Responsibility, Abstaining from Sex or Safe Sex. What's more is that both sides want to diminish and discourage the need for abortions through promoting these positive behaviors. But for some people - even the media - its more fun to inflame the matter to get people's blood boiling and spiking up those TV ratings and circulate more magazines and newspapers. This solves nothing and why we, as a society, never budge on the issue. People are too wrapped up in the war against the other side to make progress.

Know about how your media uses positives and negatives and you know where they stand.

Obama knows this, too. He's not playing by Hillary's rules, which are the usual mudslinging that both Democrats and Republicans alike have been known for these last few decades. Instead of addressing Obama's issues, she attacks Obama. He just plays it off and it makes him look better in the public's view by acting like a real grown-up and not fighting back.

I like that about Obama, not attacking those who attack you only encourages them to attack you more and embarass themselves next to you.

Saying things are so X year is so X year.

All of the news networks suck in varying degrees, but Fox sucks to a greater extent than most.

Telling people that all media is biased is so 1997.

Thanks for the tip, but it's like telling us that all water varies in temperature. Well, of course it does. But when someone tries to serve me water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit in a dirty cup, I'm going to complain.

                Anyways, back to the fun!

BBQ, yes all of them are biased to an extent, but you don't turn on BBC or CNN or NBC or any other news station so you can laugh at how biased their coverage is.

BBC is less Biased because it is news directed at britons, they dont care about the week long coverage of Rev wright. For the most part they show the candidates and their issues (which for the last week has been pretty much a non-factor)

CNN is okay if you filter out the BS and do a little research of your own.

But in all seriousness, Meet the Press on Sunday mornings is the premier source. Tavis is good too, along with The Agenda (that's a Canadian program though )

The Agenda was talking about the pay off scandals in Iraq long before any of the major American networks picked it up. Once word of this spreads Mc Cain is going to be utterly boned.

I couldn't help but laugh, while at the same time being utterly disgusted by the truth; The Troop surge has been a complete crock of shit. The military is paying off the insurgents to keep the fighting to a minimum.
