Ahaha, this one made me chuckle. They do lie from time to time, which is why most places recomend taking a second test. The machines are very precise, that's true, but the environment around it (that includes all the testing tools like the tubes used on it) and maintenence can affect it's accuracy.

You always need to get a second opinion/exam regardless of the result being what you wanted to hear or not.

Well, you got the confirmation test done, which hopefully should clear you of anything. There are all sorts of things that could have caused a false positive. For most basic UDS tests they use a simple kit test that comes with an insert listing a lot of examples of things that will cause false positives for each drug. You may try calling them and get them to read off the list of things that can cause a false positive on cocaine. If you're on any medication, that can also cause lots of problems those tests.
