I think you'll find that you are, in fact, wrong on that.

Obviously you haven't been given access to the real rule set and are still working off of the one we give idiots.

What's next, Murph? The episode where you jump the shark and announce that you are rubber, and I am glue?

Its a R.E.M. song, but "losing my religion". Its a southern term that one says when they are losing their sanity.

Not sure how local this is, but what the hell.

"En guerra avisada no muere gente." Literally translates to "People don't die in wars that are announced/declared in advance." The rough meaning would be "You've been given fair warning about xxx, so you'd better not come crying to me if xxx happens to you."

Murphie and Feba are like this forum's old married couple. Constantly bickering but hilarious to watch from the outside.

Cool. The Thanks was for reminding me of a Spanish expression which perfectly fits the bill of this thread. Though, I don't think it really counts as "local" very much, what, with living in Northern Central Florida, and everybody I've mentioned it too always gave me blank faces, even after I finished explaining.

"Menos burros, mas elotes." Literally means "Less donkeys, more corns-on-the-cobs," which basically means "If you don't want any, then more for me." It is used when you are offering one of your favorite foods to your friends and they don't express interest.

Not by yourself, no, but when arguing with Feba, yes.
