As much as I enjoy the forums, I come here for content pertaining to the game I play. Once I no longer play FFXI, I will move to another series of forums based around the games content.

I have no idea. I stopped comin' round last time I quit, but that was part of this whole... thing, where I wanted to completely focus on other stuff. Next time I quit, the circumstances will likely be different, so it's hard to say.

I said no though I would probably look in from time to time for the first couple of months after I quit. It's a good forum, I enjoy my time here but I'm not close with anyone or one of the regular fixture people so there would be nothing to stay for if I wasn't playing ffxi.

I quit a while ago. Came back, quit again, done for good this time.

Kept posting here the whole time, though. The community is nice enough. I can't say anyone sees me as a 'friend' but I enjoy talking to the vast majority of core members, even if some of them are occasionally abrasive. :p

Damnit I wish some of you played LotRO though. Outside of our Kin, Val and I don't have many people to talk to. Or quest with.

i agree with Satori, nuttin like comin in here on a daily basis just to see what the new argument is. kinda like a [GM]Dave thing. wake up sign on there and here to see what new thing might bring a laugh.

When did we start cheating at them? The games with the broken scoreboards we're saying - "They're broken!" (where we can) and the games where they aren't - we're just winning. Or you just sore that I beat you in the Gold Miner tournament?

I've stopped posting here though (other than this) and just hanging out with my LS almost exclusively or playing the Arcade here (which by the way - the Minigolf gauntlet hasn't been picked up yet - I need some competition).

I don't talk to any of my 3 ex-wives. When I quit
something, I quit for good. If something has the smallest
amount of interest, I wouldn't quit. I'll play FFXI til it quits,
or I die.

No I wouldn't. If I am leaving the game for any particular reason, coming back here would probably make me want to play again. I think it's best to just leave it all behind.

As far as the people here are concerned, there are other means of communicating with them via some other source... blogs, AIM, YAHOO and whatnot. So I wouldn't stay here for anyone.

Better question would be imo, "will you leave FFXI once you left the game?"

On the almost one year of my break i kept coming to the forums and reading the version updates, to me.. i never really left the game.

Well I have not even gotten the game yet.. lol But this place is full of nice people so at the moment the forum is getting me to buy the game and after that I doubt I will stop playing FFXI.

Unfortunately, I stopped posting here after the first time I quit FFXI because gaming simply evolves so fast and keeping up and trying to give advice on a game you don't play anymore can become frustrating.

I don't post here anymore really, even though I have came back to the game.

I won't say where I am in FFXI now,
but I miss posting here, like I used to way back in the day.
Especially like when I had my 'Trigara's Beta Screenshot Thread' and 'Trigara's Screenshot Thread'.

I remember I found this site when I was 12, and loved it. I'm now 18 in a few days, and I won't forget the memories that you all brought me.

Especially the FFXI importers who kept us all sane while Square played the release date game.

I dont see myself quiting FFXI any time soon, but in the far away future after that final battle.......no can't say I will stay at the forum after leaving the game.
