    Well, I did enjoy my cake (despite what my avatar might suggest), but man, I would love some schadenfreude pie.

      Holy crap! That is one disgusting looking pie! Looks like my grandson's diaper when he's on iron supplements. As far as ingredients, there is enough sugar in there to put me into a freakin coma! I have a sweet tooth and I can't even say that the ingredients make me want a slice. *shudders*

        Honestly, it reminds me of shoofly pie (or as I more commonly see around my neck of the woods, chess pie). Which is something you have to eat in very small slices.

          Ah, similar to pecan pie! I absolutely adore pecan pie but also need to eat it in small pieces because it is very rich.

          Murphie, I may have missed it mentioned, but was it your birthday? I heard you mention the big THREE-O in another thread for your age.

              Well congratulations and happy birthday! My son just hit his 25th on the 3rd so we've been constantly asking him how it feels to be a quarter of a century old. You're nearing a third of a century! LOL

                  Seriously. My parents refuse to believe that they have a 30 year old, but I told them that I have the birth certificate to prove it.

                      Unfortunately, if I eat anything high in sugar I will fall asleep. So yes, this has lead to some embarassing situations. lol I took a couple bites of my husbands dessert while out at a resturant and promptly fell asleep at the table. The waitress thought I had a seizure and called an ambulance. /sigh
